You alone cannot do much. Use the word 'save' properly. Our country is already 70% in poverty or on the border level. 'Recovery' would be a better word. Only the joint efforts of the citizens of India, combined with proper government planning for employment can pull out country out of the pit of 'developing' countries.

Of course, the rich can give money to charity, but who knows if the money really reaches the needy? Don't expect the rich in our country to go through villages and slums giving cash to the poor.

To cure a disease, you must kill the cause. Now let us see some causes of poverty.

Most of the people are employed in the primary sector (agriculture). It accounts for nearly 65 - 70% of the working population. This is more manpower than is necessary. If you remove a hundred thousand people from agriculture and put them in industry or service sector, agricultural production will not decline!
That is because there are more people employed in agriculture than is necessary. If you remove some of them, production will not decline. In fact, the income will increase as the secondary (industrial) and tertiary (service) sector offer more salary. Also, the tertiary and secondary sectors account for more than 75% of the GDP. Growth will increase if more people are employed in these sectors, leading to further economic boom at a faster rate, thereby effectively developing our country and its population!

That's one problem solved. But it leads to another. The people choosing to shift from agriculture to industry or services may be rejected due to lack of proper knowledge. So, they may end up as laborers in factories or as construction workers, which is not a much better situation. So, education is the step to be taken. They can earn well if they are well - educated. This can be achieved if people like Karunanidhi stop using taxpayers' money to give 'free' gifts for votes and start using the taxpayers' money for education and development. After all, where do you think the free TV's cam from?

It is a real shame. The framers of our Constitution expected to make free and compulsory education for all till University a reality by 1973 at the most. Here we are, 34 years from that deadline, extremely far from realizing the goal. If we educate the entire population till University, India will be complete.

this could be a not person-friendly question. First i'd create jobs via rebuilding the roadways of this united states. and not use a commonplace company the two. 2d, i'd quit each and every of the bail-outs. they don't seem to be working for the yankee human beings. i'd particularly use that funds to easily do what's important to assist the individuals right here! not extra bonuses.era! 0.33, i'd start up the technique to quit all unlawful immigrants from coming to this united states. they seem to be a drain on the economy. And would boost employment for the legal citizens right here. Then i'd do away with the lobbyist, they simply screw us lots. there is extra i'd do for this united states, yet , as in all actuality. those issues would hit a brick wall as a results of fact of the two democrats and republicans would see something that should piss them off in this thinking.
