I am planning on becoming a Neonatologist or Neonatal nurse. I will attend UCCS (University of Colorado at Colorado Springs) for my first four years as an undergraduate. I live in Colorado Springs, and am wondering what are some quality Medical Schools. They don't necessarily have to be around my area, but that would help!

"But Wen probably does mean that the party and state, even the central government, should not interfere in routine judicial matters. And the definition of "politically important case," if the past is predictive, should continue to shrink over time. But progress will only come gradually."

Can we just paraphrase "And the definition of "politically important case," if the past is predictive, should continue to shrink over time" as:

From the past experience, we can predict that the number of the politically cases should become smaller.

For me, "definition shrinks" cannot be understood literally. What does "definition shrink" mean? What will be shrinking is the number of cases, not the definition. Please confirm or disagree. Thanks in advacne again.

Can I get into med school with an MA in Economics?
I started undergrad in engineering, then switched to economics. I'm getting ready to finish a masters program in economics, and I'm weighing my options after that. Would I have a realistic shot at getting into med school, given that background?

I'm aware of the process (MCAT scores, biology/chemistry/physiology prereqs), and I know money is a huge factor, too. I don't have a strong background in any of the biological sciences, and my grades have fluctuated with my employment (I'm a starving student who has to work for a living) so my transcripts are less than stellar. Is becoming a surgeon just a pipe dream, or could it be attainable (if I got the MCAT scores and found a sugar mamma, of course)?

Ok. I know the saying Live fast, die young, and what is the rest of the saying? I can't remember who originally said it! And it has nothing to do with James Dean or Jimmy Morrison, but my teacher told me and I can't remember...

I want to become a business major with a concentration in Finance but everyone keeps advising me not to. I know a few people that graduated with Business degrees and they wish that they had changed their majors. I was told that it was hard to find a job or the jobs were low paying. SO, is it a bad idea to major in Business?

I graduate with a BA international Business and GPA of 3.06
It(GPA) has to be 3.50 at least?

I have taken some calculas and chemistry courses with many Cs and aB and that was a factors that lowered my GPA.
I take them again (try to ace all them) and my GPA might increase to 3.50, right?
Or.....my GPA is below 3.50, and they will accept me in with all As in prereq courses?

Prerequisites are 8 credits of organic chemistry with lab,
two semesters of general/inorganic chemistry, and two or more semesters of advanced biology.

Besides, do they include Physics, calculas? how many
semesters of them? what elses are they?

A lot of community and hospital volunteer work is required?

Maybe it is just too late to do this.....

Are there any kinds of laws or regulations which govern home-schooling? I have a friend whose ex-wife is trying to get him to pay child support after the child's 18th birthday by claiming the child is still in school. Home school. This a total crock of crap. I'm sure there are many parents home-schooling their children and doing a responsible job of it. However, I have seen many other situations where deadbeat parents (usually they're on drugs...) claim to be home-schooling their kids so they'll have an excuse for the child's truancy and their own inability to get their kids to school regularly. I think this is a form of child abuse. It's morons "home schooling" more morons and it's wrong. Does anyone know if my friend might have to pay child support past the kid's 18th birthday for this totally bogus reason?

At first, excuse for my pour english. I'm argentinian.

Some time ago I started a social group, wich wants to change the world. The idea is that all of we who are jaded of the pollution, contamination, the poor people, get together.
All of we use a green (i dont know how is it called in english) "cinta" in our left hand, to mean we want to change the bad things.

Thanks to internet, now we are thousands of people around the word. We are united, we are just simple people, we want to do just great things.

What do you think?
