Education & Reference - 20 May 2007

Was wondering how good or bad a small school is for a child. I have two kids, one going in 1st the other going in 6th. The school they will go to next year is really small. The 1st and 2nd grade are together with one teacher. The 5th and 6th are also in one classroom with one teacher. I know smaller classrooms can be wonderful for children. Giving them more personal attention. But I don't know how I feel about two grades being together. How much they will learn for their grade. I know they leave the classroom for certain classes, and that is when the principle of the school teaches them those classes. The first grade will have 7 children and the 6th will have 8. Let me know your views on this please. Thanks

I remember being taught that a noun beginning with a vowel and the letter 'h' should be preceded with 'an' rather than 'a'
e.g. 'an house', 'an apple' 'an auction'
sometimes it just doesn't sound right.
Anyone know the rule

In my passport there is not any place for middle name, Just Name and Family name (every body must fill name and middle name in one place), but I have filled my application documents with the format Name, Middle name and Family name and my I-20 is issued in this format (since my name contain 2 words), but the spellings and sequences are all correct. I am 22. Just got accepted to my dream college. I want to borrow 35,000 a year for two years, probably a private student loan.

I have no credit. My parents have bad credit....

I was thinking a Grandparent...but, does the cosigner still need to have an income? All of my Grandparents are retired.

Ok my mother agreed to co sign my student up untill the papers arried at my house, im not eligable for ANY type of financial aid because of my parents GROSS income, too bad fasfa doesnt realize or care that my father put my family in deep debt when he decided to build his own house that hasent sold yet,

I am writing an essay, and I keep stumbling over this sentence.

"Sometimes when no one is watching I make a frame out of my thumbs and index fingers and look at the world though it."

Should there be a comma after "sometimes" and "watching" ?
