Dear Mr. Jack

I am writing in order to gain clarification on behalf of Mr. Alex. On Thursday, May 9th, 2007, the agenda states that two options will be offered by the organizing committee to the participants, which are to stay in Barcelona (visiting museum, shopping, etc) or to visit Vatican.

Mr. Alex is looking forward to the second option (visiting Vatican), however, *we* are wondering if the transportation from Barcelona to Vatican is provided by the organizing committee or if *we* have to book our own flight. If you could please elaborate on the transportation *we* would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

Not that I want to get written up, but I'm just wondering. I've skipped that woman's class twice and she knew about it, because she would come looking for me at lunch, but couldn't find me. The other day she searched the whole freakin school for me. I told her intern that I hate my teacher and that she is a ***** and so is all her other teacher friends. They really are because all they do is sit in there and talk about people. And I also threw her pen across the room and she couldn't find it cause it was there the next day. She was out of the room the whole time I did that though. Two people from that class said she came in mad and said she was gonna write me up for skipping but never did, and i've done that twice. The next day she wouldn't talk to me, look at me, or anything. We used to have a good teacher-student relationship, but I think i found out that all those teachers plus her were talking about me so I got really mad. I'm a girl with a bad attitude when it comes to it.

...I noticed this and freaked out with anger and rage and simply froze. I am concerned what my fellow employees thought of me, being a senior offical of the company. But my own senior colleagues were very supportive to me soon after - although I don't know what they might be thinking privately. I confronted the offender and without going in to any detail, somply asked him if he understood everything I said in my speech. He must know that he caused me to stumble so publicly.
What words of encouragement can you give me to put this behind me and not let it affect my confidence and work in the future? Thank you for your advice.

First of all I havent given hardly any speeches, or had to talk at all really in any of my classes. I am naturally introverted. Anyways, this is my last semester and I graduate in May. I am not necessarilly frightened by public speaking more along the lines of nervous. I have one final group presentation and I am interested in any advice anyone has to offer. I am ready to be done with this group stuff and get out of their, tired of bad members who do nothing or members that are overly controlling and LOUD. Answering questions at the end also tends to be nerve racking. How shoudl I prepare for something like this to allow my mind to be at rest so that when its my turn I am cool, calm, and collected.....
