The sound on my computer is not working and i noticed there was no default audio device, how do i download that or something?

Some people say that teachers are bad. Some think testing is ruining the schools. Others think it's the students, or the principals, or the bureaucracy. I've met people who blame religion or the lack thereof; who say it all has to do with vouchers or the government or dress codes or food choice.
We all went (or are going) to school and we all have an opinion. What do you think? What is going on with schools and what can we do to fix it? Or are we getting ourselves worked up for nothing?

I took Algebra II/Trig H last year because that was the highest math class a sophomore in my school was allowed to take. After that, the majority of us went to Pre-Calculus. Everything we are doing has been review which would be fine if I didn't already know this stuff or if I hadn't practiced it over the summer (yes, I'm that big of a geek). Anyhow, the school's administrators just decided that all of the juniors, sophomores, and some freshmen who are taking the Alg II/Trig H class this year will be in Calculus AB with us next year. I don't have a problem with being in a class with sophomores or juniors, but I don't think it's fair to all of us who had to suffer through this year for them to skip when some of them refused to take Algebra I H in 8th grade because they were too lazy. I also don't think it's fair to the few sophomores in my class who took Alg I H in the 7th grade for their achievements to be discredited.

Am I being overdramatic? Should I talk to my class counselor?

I’m supposed to write a short personally essay on whether Saddam Hussein’s capital punishment was fair or not.

Yes Saddam Hussein’s judgment was fair because capital punishments are permitted in Iraq. But the way and the timing they executed Saddam was inappropriate; it was a kind of provocation for a lot of people. One point was: the execution was on a religious holiday which is not aloud in Iraq. In Iraq’s law it is forbidden to execute someone on his religious holiday. They executed him without respect to his rights to die with dignity. Another fault was done when trying to diminish Saddam before his execution. The material used for his execution was inappropriate: for Saddam’s execution they used a thick rope that broke his neck. One week later they used a thin but long rope to execute Saddam’s brother which beheaded him. During the execution none of his volunteering lawyers were admitted to supervise that the execution was done within the law.

No one in my immediate family has been through college. I dropped out of highschool but got my GED at 18. I'm 19 and wanting to go to college soon but i'm worried that my ambitions might be too high. Let me start off by saying the reason i failed was a combination of family problems, stress, medical problems(depression caused by an undiagnosed thyroid problem then) anxiety and absoultely no motivation or drive in school. Now I want to change all that. I want to go to tech for 2 years for credits and GPA to get into a real college then hopefully get a bachelors degree and i really, really hope to do medicine and get into medschool. My question is are my hopes too high? would they not accept me for having a GED?
