For instance, if I applied to a graduate university while I was a senior in an undergrad school, got accepted to the graduate university, and then after graduation from the undergrad school decided that I needed a year off to get some life experience, would the graduate university allow me to put my acceptance on hold?

Say you have a roller coaster 250 ft horizontally, and it reaches the max. twice and its a sine graph. Say the amplitude is 200ft and the midline is 100ft.

In this question, are you allowed to replace 250ft with 2pi? (the period length of a sin or cos) How would you find the height at 1/8 of the distance?

I'm going to be a freshman in high school next year, and this past year I have completely lost intrest in all the social things about school. I really don't care about friends and what I wear and how I look when all my life I have. Anyway, I really wish that I didn't have to go to school for 7 hours a day when I could get a tutor and do my studies in 3 hours, without all the extra bullcrap. So, my question is, does anyone who used to go to public school prefer homeschooling to public?

My teacher seems to not understand the trouble I am having to do this experiment(science) at school, and it's due in a week( around the 15th). the experiment is "can chewing gum improve test results", and to do this, I need around 20-30 people at the same time. I asked other teachers if I could use their class to do my experiment, but they didn't want the kids chewing gum in class, or taking time out of their schedule. Only one teacher let me use her class, and her class only had 14 kids in it. I did the experiment and analyzed the data, but my teacher ignored that, and says i need more people. She won't even let me use her class to test my experiment. I know this is long and confusing, but can you guys help me? How can i convince other teachers to let me use their class for my experiment? How can I tell my teacher that I don't have enough time(or persusive skills) to do another experiment?

I don't understand.. why do we have to study earth science and biology and crap, but we can't study astrology?

My son got in trouble for giving another boy a pill..rittilin....( he said a kid on the bus gave it to him) The boy he gave it to went a lttle crazy in school and got sent to the office.
