My teacher seems to not understand the trouble I am having to do this experiment(science) at school, and it's due in a week( around the 15th). the experiment is "can chewing gum improve test results", and to do this, I need around 20-30 people at the same time. I asked other teachers if I could use their class to do my experiment, but they didn't want the kids chewing gum in class, or taking time out of their schedule. Only one teacher let me use her class, and her class only had 14 kids in it. I did the experiment and analyzed the data, but my teacher ignored that, and says i need more people. She won't even let me use her class to test my experiment. I know this is long and confusing, but can you guys help me? How can i convince other teachers to let me use their class for my experiment? How can I tell my teacher that I don't have enough time(or persusive skills) to do another experiment?

Well, I can't help you with your teacher issue (maybe consult your consulor). But, last year my teacher tested that on us and the results were that students did worse while chewing gum. But I think thet that is only true because the students were ALLOWED to chew it, so they were more concentrating on chewing. But when students have to hide there gum, they aren't chomping away. Anyway, I'm sorry that your teacher is being so mean. You could try testing it on elementary kids in Sunday School, or at a youth group for older kids.

I would suggest you go see your school counsellor or principal and explain your problem. Tell them that you have done everything possible to complete your assignment but it's not enough for your teacher. You should not have to go and try to persuade other teachers to let you into their classes - your teacher should have discussed this with them ahead of time in the teacher/staff room or given you a letter to give to them. Good Luck
