“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The question is:

What is the probability that a carrier and a person who has a sex-linked genetic disorder willhave a son with the disorder? A daughter? Use a Punnett square to answer these questions.

I'm guessing the carrier is a carrier of the sex-linked genetic disorder.

So how do I do this?

I am a freshman in High School, and when asked where I'm from, I tell them I'm American, that I was born here, and that I don't speak any other languages. The truth is that I was born in Russia, immigrated when I was 5, live by a green card, and speak Russian at home :(

However, you can't tell that I'm Russian. My speech and appearance are perfectly normal. Should I tell everyone who asks the truth, keep lying the way I always have, or tell them that I'm Russian but was born here?

Hi I am a high school graduate and am really interested in getting into a community college to take courses to be a X-ray Tech or Ultrasound Tech and was wondering how much would the whole college tuition be. I plan on going just for two years and getting a basic degree. I just need an estimate so I know what to expect and about how much so I can start thinking about grants and loans and saving money, all that good stuff. I appreciate all the serious answers in advance.
Also if you are a X-ray Tech or Ultrasound Tech do you love your job considering the great pay? Thanks again :-)

I'm graduating this semester, but I plan on working for a year or two first before applying. Should I get the letters from my professors now? Or should I wait and ask for them later? Or by that time, should I just ask my employer? I'm afraid my employer then won't be closely tied to my grad school area of study.
