depends. some schools give you 4 pts whether you get an A or A-. some schools, a +/- will be +/-.3 pts. so like an A- would be 3.7 pts. then you have to see if all your classes are weighted the same. like a 4 unit class would be worth more than a 1 unit class. then add all your pts and divide by units.

it depends on the person who is giving the grade. if the person is nice u can get a 4.0 if the person sticks to the rules, u might end up getting a a 3.9 or maybe even less!

You'll probably get less than 3.9, because a "minus" points usually come along with "plus" points, so an A probably worth only 3.75. But that depends on your teachers.

girlfriend, run the average! add up 4.0 for each A and 3.7 for each A- and then divide by the total number of grades-- that is the GPA (grade point average)

In my teacher certification program I had all A's and one A- that gave me a GPA of a 3.92

you would get a 4.0 cuz its still an A
