Ok i know this is kind of a stupid question but i have been trying to remember this saying for awhile. The general idea of what i am trying to say is unless you have something positive to say, dont say anything at all.

What i need to know is the exact saying is because i need to quote it.

Please and THANK YOU

Hello. Well, I just wanted to say that I've been feeling very down lately...I am a senior in college, and I feel as though I have no right to be complaining. I attend a good school and have had a relatively easy time throughout my time here. Classes have certainly been challenging, but I've never had to work 2 jobs to pay for school or been the object of severe hatred. Yet I feel like I have maybe one friend, my social life has been pretty pitiful, I have not done really well in my major or most of my classes. I'm frustrated that I don't have a passion that I want to address when I graduate. Basically, I feel like it's all been a very blah experience, and I'm no closer to understanding what I want to do with my life than when I entered. For a while now I've been extremely apathetic about school and meeting new people...I just want to leave all this behind. I feel incredibly lonely and feel like I have no direction. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

I'm an English teacher and right now I'm developing an intervention project in a very poor area in the surrounds of Curitiba (PR), in Brazil.
Where could I ask for materials to create an ambient room with books, games that could help them to learn English. This is part of a larger project, called "Child Project".
Thank you for taking your time to answer, I really appreciate that.

When I hear a person use the word AKS in place of ASK, it really turns me off.
It really makes me wonder, why hasn't anyone tried to correct them? A S K , why is that so hard to pronounce?

I am a 13 year old currently in grade 8. A tall(5 foot 8), skinny chinese kid who wears baggy cloth. I'm pretty nice looking, and athletic. I should belong with the cool kids. But guess what, I'm a loner. Throughout grade 7, I've been teased, make fun of, and bullied by kids half my size. I had very little confidence ever since I entered middle school.I was so quiet and sensitive. My voice seemed to be gone.I think I'm the biggest loser to ever be in the school's basketball team.In the start of grade 8 I've been put into a good class with alot of friendly kids.I made some good friends and talked a lot more.At least I have people to sit with at lunch.Life has gotten alot better.I felt like I was in heaven. And then all of a sudden I had to be transfered to another school, into a class of hooligans who teases, and bullies me with every chance they get.I have no one to stick up for me.I'm a loner again. This is worse than what I've been through in grade 7.Any suggestions for a better life?

I think I understand the different interpretations of de dicto and de re, but this doesn't make sense:

de dicto is the narrow interpretation
de re is the wide interpretation

Isn't the following right?

John thinks the manager of Hudson Bank is rich.
de dicto: John thinks anyone who manages a bank would be rich.
de re: John saw the manager of Hudson Bank driving a BMW, so he thinks he must be rich.

To me, the de dicto reading was wide- he thinks any bank manager in general is rich; while the de re reading seems narrow- he thinks one particular person (identified as the manager of Hudson Bank) is rich.

I'm writing a two page biography on a famous author, and I'm wondering about the format. I borrowed a biography written about him from the library and the book is like 700 pages long. what kind of information should I focus on because I really don't want to read the whole book ^-^. Also, it has both factual and personal information, so should blend the two types together, like one fact or an event followed by thepersonal perspective, or should I state all the facts first then the personal stuff? Also, how should I start it? Should it have a thesis like an essay, or do I just go in chronological order. I really need the help, thanks!
