I'm so bad at algebra, how do retain all the rules so I can pass these tests?

Keep solving sums, and write the formula each time you solve the sum first, then solve the sum, this way you get to learn the formula and also learn to do the sums. But for this you have to solve many sums

ehh lol i've had the same problem.. but im in 8th grade and in the stupid advanced class (which is algebra) well i would always ask my teacher if im doin something right while i do it so she/he could guide u thruogh a problem so you understand. and always study before tests and make sure you understand the material/

and the rules.. meaning equality, inverse, identity? those are easy after you get the hang of it. equality is when you do the same thing to both sides, for instance, 7+x = 48 (easy, i know) then 7-7+x=48-7 then inverse is 0+x=41 (i think) and then idenity is x=41

I was bad at algebra, too, but when I took the classes I practiced, practiced, practiced and practiced some more. I was a nervous wreck, but I got through the classes. I wish you the best.

Well, some of my math teachers allowed us to have a notecard with some of the rules that don't really need to be rembembered, but how to use in the math itself.

I write the rules over and over until I remember...while I'm writing, I say them also...that way you see it, do it, and hear it...It just helps me remember better...

You can lick and sniff the paper also to taste it and smell it also...that may be a little over the top though...

Study a little each day and make some kind of notes to yourself.This will help you out a lot......Good luck.
