My teacher returned us marks from an oral assignment that we just did. She mis-counted my mark and instead of 51/55 she put 53/55! Should I tell her that she made a mistake? If I do, she'll just correct it...and no, I wont get marks for being honest! Plus, I really need those marks...PLEASE HELP!

Im in high school and i am currently taking 3 math focused classes, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and chemistry. I am thinking of dropping chemistry because im getting an D in it anyway and i have already taken a year of physics. Is it worth it or should i tough it and try to pass the class, taking focus from my other math focused classes or just drop it?

I'm an EFL teacher from Taiwan.
A student got me a question as my title.
For those of u who r native speakers, please
explain the difference between the two sentences below,
1. Most lizards are born from eggs, but a few are born from their mother's body.
2. Most lizards are born from eggs, but a few are born from their mothers' bodies.
Thanks a lot!

BTW, I've asked some Americans here, their first instinctive choice is no.1 sentence. But a few is a plural pronoun, we should put "mothers' bodies" instead, shouldn't we?

because everyone around me thinks college is important, and I dont see the point, I know what I want to do in life and it has nothing to do with learning academic bull**** all day. It locks you in, forces you to stay in one little spot while you take all those classes on one little subject then be a good little boy and take a job, that locks you in to that one place forever. I study and study but apparently 74% is not good enough for my history class, the professor has a propietary grading policy where you must get 21 on each test. Not a point lower. I have a 20, and I tried to retest but the testing center said I can't because I don't have a yellow slip and well.. you need a yellow slip "thats the rule". So now I fail probably. Government burahracies are so great, nothing like a bunch of people sitting in a testing room doing nothing getting paid tons to do a job Wal-mart would pay someone $5 for.
