I've heard either John Steakley's Armor (which I've read but don't recall line for line) and something call the Masao or the Macao.

My son is born on 21/10/1995. Now in class V. Very good at studies. Has an very strong inclination to become a pilot. Accordingly I too wanted to get him admitted in any technical school at the earlieast occasion. Now i saw the Advy for admission for SAINIK SCHOOLS but to my misfortune, he is not fitting into the criteria for appearing at the entrance test undr "over age" ground. May be because of my mistake by getting him admitted in "Nursery" at the age of 4 plus instead of getting him admitted directky in LKG. After knowing that he is not eliible not only he but I am too quite upset for the wrong planning. Can any one suggest me any Technical Institution/Vourse which he can take up at the earliest to form a good base of the future plans to become a PILOT(and for that mater build a careear in Army/Air force/Naval/Merchant Navy & the likes ?

The black plague is a deadly disease that has remained without a cure
for hundreds of years. It has paralysed Europe not only by causing
tens of thousands of injuries but also in economic loss.

It originated from the fleas in rodents like squirrels, rats and mice
on the northern coast of the black sea, in the Italian trading colony.
It spread through the country-to-country trading of the Italians.

People dealt with this epidemic by creating early warning systems,
such as isolating individuals or cities from the larger population to
prevent the disease spreading. Some families were even locked up in
their own homes to avoid contamination of other families.

Individuals who were infected got sent to a special hospital, where
they usually died. The dead bodies were simply carted away and put in
mass graves known as plague pits. Archaeologists discovered these pits
during their excavations.

This changed the world by destroying over one quarter of Europe's
population! There was tens of thousands of deaths and this caused a
huge economic loss. But it did put a hold to the deadly diseases
plaging society, by introducing the first public warning systems. This
has benefited society greatly.

so i have this logarithm:

7 ^ [ lg (lg 5) / lg 7] = ...

i have to do it step by step, so i wanted to start with solving lg5, and i found out it's 0.6989700... and how do i transform this into a fraction?? (our teacher told us it's easier with fractions than decimals) anyway, what now?

is it good if approximate it to 0.7 and do the rest like this:

7 ^ (lg 0.7/lg 7) = 7 ^ [lg (1/10)] = 7 ^ -1 = 1/7

hope i wrote things right, since I'm not from US I'm not used with this type of notations... and to think i went at a social studies profile to escape from math & physics... :((
