what is the METHOD of a science fair project?

Method are the steps that you took to actually complete the science experiment. If someone is trying to duplicate the experiment you have done, he/she should be able to do so from the steps you describe.

The method of your science project are the steps you used to make your experiment.

ex. if your experiment is on making salt crystals [mine was] :
1. boil water
2. add salt
etc. . .
