Im going out to a Thai restaurant tonight and not really tried Thai food much. Had a taster a long time ago and it was like a green curry dish but it had a distinctive taste, i didnt like it. But ive decided to go tonight to give it a chance to see if it was just a one off. I love Prawns, chicken, Lamb, Fish. Dont like any nuts in food or sweet dishes, i love spicy or savoury dishes. Any ideas on what to try, maybe even drinks/deserts. Thanks for your help in advance.

xx

I have just brought a Quarter pounder, virtually took my last bite and i have what looks like a piece of sheered metal half the size of a UK penny. I have informed Mcdonalds who said to return the object for testing. Offered me a free meal! I dont want a free meal i just found metal in the last one. This is so wrong, i have taken pictures for future reference. (and no im not after a law suit, just an apologie really) thanks

Not to be horrible, but when I go out to a nice place with hubby, I like the atmosphere to be relaxing and soothing. It drives me nuts to pay L200.00 for a meal which I can't enjoy because someone elses child is screaming / running around / causing a fuss.

I find smoking much less offensive / invasive, and restaurants have 'no smoking' sections...

I'm supposed to be going tomorrow (Thursday) and I haven't been for ages... and my memory of that is a little hazy. Can I get away with jeans or do I have to be more glam?

powerfully-built guy who met a woman at a bar. After a number of drinks, they agree to go back to his place. As they are making out in the bedroom, he stands up and starts to undress.

After he takes his shirt off, he flexes his muscular arms and says, "See that, baby? That''s 1000 pounds of dynamite!" She begins to drool.

The man drops his pants, strikes a bodybuilder''s pose, and says, referring to his bulging thighs, "See those, baby? That''s 1000 pounds of dynamite!" She is aching for action at this point.

Finally, he drops his underpants, and after a quick glance, she grabs her purse and runs screaming to the front door.

He catches her before she is able to leave and asks, "Why are you in such a hurry to go?"

She replies, "With 2000 pounds of dynamite and such a short fuse, I was afraid you were about to blow!"

I am going to the theatre in Hanley on Friday and am looking for a nice place to have a quick dinner before eight o'clock (when the concert starts).
I think I can safely say McDonalds is not really the kind of place I was looking for. I'm not sure about pubs on a Friday night.

But any recomendations?
