That depends entirely on what you buy. Macdonalds have started to do things like frying chips in healthier oil (note the word healthier; still not healthy, just less unhealthy), and reducing the salt in thier foods. KFC do better quality food, and it's really good, but because they only sell deep fried goodness there is a high chance that there's more fat. If you go into a branch and ask then they will give you a sheet of nutritional values for all thier food, and in macdonals it's on the back of the tray lining sheet. Alternatively look online.
(personally I think that it's all so good it's worth the risk of a heart attack!)

McDonald's Big Mac is 493 calories, large fries are 412!

KFC Wing/Thigh or Drum is about 250 cals each! I can eat 3 bits without any trouble! Plus fries, 383 cals for a large potion.

So looking at calories McDonald's wins (just about) but I would rather have a KFC every time! Yum Yum

I'm sure it would depend which meal you eat. But I convince myself that kfc is better because at least it's whole pieces of chicken. Of course you have to consider what conditions the chickens live in, but mcdonalds would surely have that plus all the extra rubbish they put in that mincer.

Both are evil though and if you're gonna go to a place like that, healthy option isn't a term worth considering.

McDonalds. Everybody should consume only a small amount of transfat a day. A recent study showed 1 individual meal at KFC has enough transfat for a whole week, while McDonalds has been working to reduce their transfat. Even though McDonalds is better niether is healthy.

Watch the documentary "Super size me" and you will never eat fast food again Both of the places mentioned has a great deal of fat in them. The fat will affect your liver thereby increasing your liver enzymes. It is also harmful to your heart. If you have to eat "fast food" and many of us do. Not more than one or two meals a week and eat healthy the rest of the time. Studies have shown that all the fat and sugar has no place to go and is stored up in your body. In a worse case, you may take in as much as one pound of sugar per day. The amount of fat contained in a Big Mac will surprise and sicken you. Even the salads are loaded with sugar. The extra salt also will cause hypertension (high blood pressure). Hope this helps.

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

It depends on what you get there. If you pick up a salad and juice and fruit and walnut thing from McD's then KFC can't really top that. However, burger/fries is probably inferior to chicken/corn/slaw/mashed. I'd personally much rather go to Subway or Quizno's if available.

Neither is healthier, but if hard pressed, I would take McDonalds. KFC is disgustingly deep fried.
