Hi, I work in the Westend and there a loads of places to have lunch but lots of thee are over priced tourist traps....

Great little pizza restaurant opposite the "White Bear" along Charing Cross Road, just by Zoo bar. They serve a great pizza and from 12pm until 5pm they offer any pizza on the menu with a glass of wine or soft drink for £4.95, it's real bargain. My colleagues and I go there all the time.

Also, just round the corner is the Westend Kitchen, they offer a 3 course meal for about £4! Things like Cottage Pie and Apple Crumble, real comfort food.

You will find lots "All you can Buffets" mostly Chinese and again great value. Try Mr Woos, good food and just £4.95 - As much as your belly can take!

I think a lot of pubs are over priced, they offer Fish & Chips from £6.95 but I'm sure if it's any good.

Enjoy!

Fire and Stone (Pizzeria) do a lunch special for £5. Also Med Kitchen on St. Martins lane is good. Bistro One on Greek St in Soho has a two course menu for £6.50 at lunchtime, it is nice Mediterranean food. Or have a look on top table and see what restaurants in the area have a two for one deal.

Try the Hummus Place or Dumpling Man on St. Anthony's in SOHO.

The Hummus Place has the BEST Mint Lemonade and Dumpling Man has been on the Food Network Show Great Eats.

Both are great and VERY inexpensive as well.
