I am an American living in London and there are people coming to visit me. I would like to take them to a locally owned tea room or cafe. Any suggestions? Please, not Starbucks or Harrods.

Thank you!

I am going to Europe to meet my boyfriend's family for the first time. His father is taking us to dinner at the Ritz. My boyfriend talks of dressing in VERY fancy clothing. He suggested something like an elegant dress. I have a few, but wouldn't mind something new. I'm only 19, so I would like something elegant and sophisticated, but still young. Any specific websites anyone can think of or stores that might help me out? Thanks!

I'm looking for a private room that'd allow 5-8 people to sit comfortably and watch DVD on a massive TV. Are there any pubs/restaurants or even community centres where I can hire such a room?

I am looking to watch the Liverpool v Barcelona match tomorrow and want to go to a good pub to watch and eat. My preference is not North or way West. SouthWest or Central would be brilliant. Thanks!

Not the rubbish American ones... proper British ones. Not interested in paying ridiculous prices for eggs and milk either... so somewhere that'll do a decent portion for a reasonable price!

I'm looking for a decent chinese restaurant that won't cost a fortune. In or around leicester square would be best. If you have any advice or know where i can get some good restaurant reviews that would be great.

I'm going to visit mid-year and I'm considering the Ivy. I think I'd like to avoid Gordon Ramsay as his average price for a dinner is 100 pounds.
Is Pasha good?
Please give me some recommendations.
