Coquitos, Lecester Square, is the only Mexican place I've been to in London. It was very good.
Plus, if memory serves, there's quite a prominent one in Greenwich.

I really wouldn't bother with Chiquitos, the food is bland and stodgy to say the least, and the cocktails weak. It's everything that's bad about a chain restaurant and there's MUCH better places around.

My favourite tex mex is Cafe Pacifico on Langley st in covent garden. It's not 'true' mexican in that it does fajitas (a non authentic dish) etc, but the food is very tasty, atmosphere good and the margaritas are great (try the passion fruit marg! yum!)

For authentic, real mexican food, (ie not tex mex) go to Mestizo in Camden http://www.mestizomx.com/main.html. Fantastic food and different from your average tex mex menu. Make sure you try the molcajete mestizo - the house speciality!

A fun place to eat Mexican food is the Texan Embassy Cantina just off Trafalgar Square:

If you want your Chimichangas with entertainment try "Break for the Border" in Gosslett Yard opposite the Centre Point Building at the top of Charing Cross Road:

This one might just be a little too authentic, read all the reviews and make your own decision. Mestizo, Hampstead Road, nr. Euston Station:

Egeware street is okay, there are a number of drunks in that section in a while interior the night notably after night, in case you will get interior the Kings Rd in Chelsea you may have a greater upmarket clientell, yet another solid section may well be the soho section around Leicester sq., while you're after a hectic lunchtime commerce and early night commerce, i recomend Farendon st or fleet street or everywhere interior the EC2 submit code, it extremely is the place the money is for the bowler hat brigade

Yes, for proper Mexican - not greasy tex mex rubbish - try Mestizo.

I've been there about 8 times to eat - a real favourite. The food is good quality and served in good portions. Downstairs there is a fabulous bar for lively nights, but the resturant has a great relaxed vibe.

Amazing food.

There was a place near the Cutty Sark in Greenwich called Cafe Sol, Texan and Mexican Cantina and Bar, don't know if it is still there.

Yes! Go to Crazy Homies on Westbourne Park Road in Notting Hill. The food is delicious and authentic and the laid-back atmosphere is awesome.

bro you're not gonna find any good mexican food in london. your best bet is to come all the way over here to el paso texas for some real mexican food. just remember to bring some alka-seltzer, because there's going to be a war in your stomach afterwards.
