What are some of the livliest London pubs and clubs where patrons are encouraged to drink heavily and young, pretty, single girls are everywhere?

It's for Valentines night, Italian, Thai, even Mexican I guess, needs to be nice but not to stuffy. Live between East and West Croydon train station so tram or train link (not too long a journey) is important, price less so.

Then perhaps a bar for afterwards, for drinks - somewhere quite lively but not so that you cannot chat.

I want to spend under £500 - and ideally want it to be hot, although I am open to suggestions for anywhere really different. I want to spend most of the day relaxing/reading - and the evening eating nice food and drinking.

Hi,
Am meeting someone I have been corresponding with on the internet for the first time tomorrow. He's suggested Sunday lunch, but has left the venue to me. Where is the best place to go, bearing in mind we are strangers?

I want to know some good restaurants near the national theatre, but that isn't too pricey either, willing to pay around £40 for me and boyfriend. If possible, a restuarant that isn't Italian.
