There are lots of Chinese restaurants in the area north of Leicester Square known as China Town. My favourite Chinese restaurant is the New World in Gerard Place, off Shaftsbury Avenue. It specialises in Dim Sum cuisine

For the uninitiated Dim Sum is a style of dining in certain Chinese restaurants. trolleys roam around the room containing a variety of dishs ranging from little white steamed buns containing barbecued meat to braised chickens feet. You can get steamed prawns and little parcels of sticky rice. Its usually a cheap way to dine particularly if you share dishs. Dim Sum is normally served in the day before 6pm.

Absolutely - Wong Kei in Wardour Street. If you stand with your back to the entrance to McDonald's in Leicester Square there is a side street across the square from you. You will see a clock that sticks out sideways from the wall on the left hand side of that side street some way down. It is there. The food is fabulous and authentic.

I stay in Melbourne and prefer it yet will positioned my bias aside for this one. i imagine both city will be an excellent decision. Brisbane would healthful your way of existence more beneficial efficient although. Melbourne has tremendous climate for 1/2 of the twelve months extremely late spring, summer season, and early autumn, and at recent we are in an unusual mid week chilly snap, notwithstanding the elements nonetheless isn't that undesirable. there is no such element as 4 seasons in a million day, yet there will be 4 seasons in a million week. notwithstanding Melbourne is a sizeable city, about two times as huge as Brisbane with double the inhabitants and there are extremely some travelers right here. Brisbane is smaller and travelers in additional than a number of circumstances pass to the Gold Coast or the tropics of QLD somewhat of Brisbane. Melbourne does have a higher arts & lifestyle scene and is nicely wide-spread for it yet Brisbane's isn't too undesirable. Melbourne is intense priced notwithstanding the outer suburbs are plenty more cost-effective than inner suburbs, and it nonetheless would not take lengthy to go back and forth to the city from the city fringe. yet Brisbane worry-free is a touch more cost-effective. My advice... stay in Brisbane, yet visit Melbourne for vacation journeys.

Wong Keys. (This is not a joke) It's just up from Leicester Sq in Wardor st. The waiters are the rudest ever, you sometimes have to share a table, which can be nice. It's not to expensive and the food is fantastic.
