Depends on the atmosphere you're looking for...

I quite like the Hackney City Farm Restaurant on Hackney Rd (East) you don't feel you're in the city... it's very "nature" and simple.
They also do one of the best espresso I've had in London and the food is just beautiful!

If you're more classy style, there is that new French restaurant in Clapham called Trinity.
Food is quite innovative and very fine; as for the the wine list it's quite good...
They have about 60-70 sits; I advice you to book if you want to get one!

Foxtrot Oscar on Royal Hospital Road Chelsea, nice little Bistro, cozy and small. Dont know whether it is classed as the smallest though, but I find it quite small.
