I thought the Big Mac standard developed by The Economist Magazine meant that prices were standardized by country, but I live in Bulgaria and one restaurant offers completely different prices for the same products. They are 8 km apart!

Okay so I work at subway and the thing is that I work at nights and it's only two of us and day crew has four most of the times some time one has the day off. The thing is they expect us to have all of the mayo and must bottles full along with the meats, veggies and ice before they come in. They want us to have all the chicken, terriakie chicken, steak, tuna, crab, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles ect. prepared with two of everything plus what they have for the front full. They want us to clean up everything and do it all before 10:30pm. We close inside at 9pm and drive thru at 10:00pm. It wouldn't be so bad, but the morning crew does nothing but prepare for the day make sandwithces and to thier afternoon money, bread, chips, and cups count. When I worked morning shift I was the only one who took tomatoes out to cut. When I tell them they werent busy they tell me it's our job to do the prep and fell up ice. Halfway thru our shift we run out of meats, cheesse, ice, just about everything.

I used the drive-thru yesterday to pick up some kids meals. The order wasn't filled correctly (no mustard, extra pickles and apple sauce instead of fries) and the Transformers toys were replaced with a couple nylon-covered foam animals (BK Endangered Species).

I wouldn't have minded the toy switch had they told me they were out of stock.

I went back to the restaurant a couple hours later and spoke with the assistant manager, who took my receipt, name and phone number and said the manager would call me back.

The manager hasn't called, so I pulled up the BK web site and filed a formal complaint with the corporation.

Leo Getz had it right.

McDonalds and Whataburger both especially seem to employ the use of brown shirts as a uniform much like Hitlers SA. Considering the oppressive and anti fast union stance of the fast food industry toward its employees and the addictive control they have over their consumers.

When you have a pizza, or chicken nuggets or anything fried.. does patting it down with a napkin really work for getting excess fat out?

Ordered a double cheese burger, was late at night watched the guy wipr his hands on his filthy white, really stained apron, than reach in a plastic drawer with his hands pulls out a cooked hambergur and the cheese, grabbed the bun, wiped his right side face and nose, starting to put the sandwich together, just hands no gloves, or utensels, i told him i wanted my money back he got the manager who said we don't have to do that here, use gloves or utensels to prepare the ood, but he gave me my money back, found out later that wendys US and Canada are the only ones who have to use gloves and thongs to grab the meat and other stuff, just to let you all know, for whats its worth.

i read it and it was disturbing but im wondering is it real?

When people eat at KFC do they really know what they are eating? During a recent study of KFC done at the University of New Hampshire, they found some very upsetting facts.

First of all, has anybody noticed that just recently, the company has changed their name? Kentucky Fried Chicken has become KFC. Does anybody know why? We thought the real reason was because of the "FRIED" food issue. It's not. The reason why they call it KFC is because they can not use the word chicken anymore. Why? KFC does not use real chickens. They actually use genetically manipulated organisms.

These so called "chickens" are kept alive by tubes inserted into their bodies to pump blood and nutrients throughout their structure. They have no beaks, no feathers, and no feet. Their bone structure is dramatically shrunk to get more meat out of them. This is great for KFC because they do not have to pay so much for their production costs. There is no more plucking of the feathers or the removal of the beaks and feet.

The government has told them to change all of their menus so they do not say chicken anywhere. If you look closely you will notice this. Listen to their commercials, I guarantee you will ot see or hear the word chicken.
