McDonalds and Whataburger both especially seem to employ the use of brown shirts as a uniform much like Hitlers SA. Considering the oppressive and anti fast union stance of the fast food industry toward its employees and the addictive control they have over their consumers.

You have been snorting too much used trans-fat laden liquid shortening!!!
Facist and capitalist? Control over the consumer?
I know, Ronald McDonald makes you eat there by holding a gun to your head or threatening your children's lives.
You know what girl... READ A REAL BOOK and stop reading blogs! A littler education is a dangerous thing.
In response to your response: Capitalism is survival of the fittest. And you have free choice to eat there or not. The fast food industry gives consumers what they want, not what people are TOLD THEY SHOULD HAVE by facists or far left socialists! Like I said: READ A REAL BOOK, darling and stop throwing around terms you don't understand!

That is pretty deep thought on our fast food universe. Fast food franchises have such a high level of turn over I do not believe it warrants the effort of forming a union which I imagine the idea is to drive up wages. People go to fast food establishments because it is cheap grub. We could raise the burger flippers wages lets say to $10 or more an hour and raise the price of a Big mac meal to $8 to $10 and you would see the food chains start to tank.
Unless you are a manager or something it is nothing but a dead end job and best suited for a kid in high school or a supplement to social security.
Peace...

I can't see how fast food franchises impose any kind of oppression on its employees nor do fast food franchises allow worker unions or bargaining units of any kind. You can't oppress the 17 year old selling you fries because he'd just find somewhere else to work. Unionized fast food workers would destroy fast food as a whole.
Addictive control over their consumers? It's our society that has forced the addictive control of consumers to patronize the fast food industry. Take a lesson from the Greeks: Life isn't about work, it's about fulfillment.

That is the most ridiculous thing I've read today...
what does the color of a shirt have to do with a political group, etc? I bet they wear brown because it doesn't show the dirt as fast. HA!

Why would you go from fast food (which we all love and hate) to a historic period that was a world wide disaster. You need to take it easy. Life is too short to waste your energy on such trivial things. And concentrate on GROWING UP.

Interesting insight to fast food fashion. I believe that the brown is to help hide the grease strains. Now if they wore jack boots also, that would be cool.

Good for you Gespacho! She's another one of these youngsters who believes everything she hears and gets her news from far left blogs.
The internet is a dangerous thing, everyone can appear credible!
