I am going to buy a Wii so I need to trade in my GameCube. I live in Vancouver, Canada. Do stores like Futureshop and Bestbuy accept trade-in's?

I mean after the entire unit is released and they insist on advertising it. It sucks when you want one so bad and aren’t able to find one anywhere. Does Sony honestly believe that the avid gamer does not know the unit was released on the 17th? Then you see the commercial for it on the television and know that you probably won’t be able to get one until sometime in June of next year. I heard the Sony Company said that they are going to step up production but, it’s still going to be impossible to get one because of the demand. What makes me even sicker to my stomach is that people are trying to sell the PS3 on E-Bay for thousands of dollars. Why didn’t Sony just have the units mass produced before the release day?

Sorry to vent but, I think its wrong especially knowing how much the unit cost and how they will capitalize on it for a long time!

My daughter want's a new game sytem for the holidays. This will be her first game sytem and she isn't really a "hard core" gamer. She wants a sytem with "Naruto" and "bleach" games and a system that isn't too complicated. I am debating between the PS3, Wii, and DS Lite. I don't know which one to get, because I don't know anything much about videogames or consoles. Which one should I get?

i.e got devhook on my psp 1gb memory card all i want to know is can i copy the contents of my memory card to say a formatted 4gb card , plug the card into the psp switch it on and it will be business as usual or will i have to install devhook from scratch

Im looking to buy one...Im not a huge gamer but I love to play. I know it does not have a hard drive, a wireless controller. So Im thinking of just getting a memory card...and in a later date a hard drive and a wireless controller--not very important now.
