The next batch will be shipped before Christmas, but that batch will be to fill the next batch of reserves--the PS3 is probably reserved out into next year, and if you don't have a reservation, you can probably count on getting one in the spring sometime. Unless you want to shell out $10,000+ for one on eBay.

the best answer i think to this is to call you local walmart daily, i know with the xbox 360 the second batch didnt come out till midnight of the new year, i got mine on jan. 1st....i thnk sony will try to get it out quicker though, i would say check around a week before christmas, if you dont get one then....may as well start planning on waiting till at least feb.

I heard on cnn that they were going to fly shipment over instead of shipping them by boat. BUT even then they expect it at the end of the year.

unfortanatly they wont be in stores before christmas thats why they are selling for so much on ebay.
