I want to get a pre-paid sim card off ebay for a cheap price. I dont mind that its a long distance number since i wont be making calls or recieving call on it much. Mostly for the internet. However i dont see any of the seller on ebay offering Nyc area codes.

Anyone know how to unlock a Motorola V300 and set it up to use for Cingular? My current phone has a weak signal and Cingular is going to charge me $40 to reprogram it..

The other day I found a Motorola slvr l7 for cricket at my job. The phone is way better than the one I currently have and lucky I have Cricket cell phone service. My question is, is there any way that I can connect the phone that I found to work with my service so that I can use it with my service even though its a lost phone? I heard that the company would lock the phone out of the company using its serial or esn number or something since it was lost or stole(as they call it), but they werent sure if that was true and Im not either. Please help!
