I am new to cell phones and I have recently bought a SAMSUNG SCH-A930 with Verizon Wireless. My friend told me that it was possible to transfer files/ringtones/data from my phone to his using bluetooth.(without a headset) We would do this by connecting to each others phones. After we connect to each other, how do we send the data through bluetooth, because there is no option for me to send my files through bluetooth. PLEASE HELP!!! Also, I would like to know if bluetooth is free with verizon wireless or if I have to pay for every file i transfer. I would like sources please. thanx

I just received a new phone for Christmas, a Motorola w315, and i planned on downloading a new ringtone from Axcess Apps, but everytime I try to connect it says that it can't connect right now and that I should try again later. However, when I tried it on my Dad's phone, a different model, I think a Samsung that he also just received for Christmas, it worked. I checked the box that my phone came in and it said that it has Axcess Apps. I'm just wondering why it's not connecting. I had an Alltel phone before this one, an old Nokia and it worked just fine. Anyone know of any solutions?

When I try to call a Sprint number that I recieved a call from last night, there is a recording saying the number or code I dialed is incorrect, and to check it and try again. It does the same on a landline phone. Does that mean the person has has their phone cut off?

so, today i got a new cell phone, my very first cell phone in fact. so anyway, it's a pay as you go verizon phone, and it says that it gets unlimited nighttime calling, and unlimited calling to other verizon users.

1. what does "night" mean? 9? 7?
2. i was talking to my friend anna, who was on her verizon cell phone as well. it was 9 something, so either way it shouldve been free. but yeah, i looked at the screen and it said how long we'd been talking, and i was afraid that i wasnt getting it for free. am i just....worrying?

I went into a three year cell phone contract one year ago with two cell phones. I can not afford to pay for my phones anymore because of circumstance which are not in my control.

I can not afford to pay out my contract which would cost around $500 for both phones up front. I can either drop it to the minimum and pay around $30 a month for 2 years and not use my phone, suck it up and use all my money on cellphones or just cut my phone off and take a hit to my credit.

I was really considering taking a hit to my credit, I know collection agencies will be after me but I do not think the company can legaly take the money from me out of my bank account (I don't get direct deposit from work). I am only 19 and was thinking of taking a big credit hit since I can not afford these phones and it is VERY stressful on me to come up with the funds to pay my bills now. My cell phone is pointless anyway.

What do you think I should do?

how can you record a conversation off a cell phone and when you are talking to someone you hear your voice echoing back to you.when i am talking to this person there is a lot of static and the voice is cutting in and out also.

well i have a TRACFONE...cell phone, and i was wondering...if i buy a new tracfone, could i just put my SIM CARD in the new phone? and it will keep my presant number and stuff saved in my phone? or would i just have to re-activate the whole thing and get a new number...? please help?!?!?
