If you want style, they're both stylish but I like the Chocolate better.

If reception matters a ton, RAZR all the way. The radio design in the RAZR is MUCH better and it'll work well where a Chocolate doesn't. Most LGs are the same (poor radios). Note the difference isn't THAT huge but it can be the difference between making a call and no service or the difference between dropping or not dropping a call driving through a weak area.

If functions matter, the Chocolate is better (especially on Verizon which I assume you have because no other carrier in the US sells Chocolates - though you can get them). Verizon removes TONS of functions from the firmware of the phones they sell but they don't mutilate the Chocolate quite as badly as they do the RAZR. So you'll have more features.

Honestly, they're both good phones. One is nicer and one has a better radio. Which matters more to you?

I like the Razr. The touch sensitive key pads on the Chocolate can get on your nerves. Plus the razr is a lot less expensive.

I love my RAZR and it was free with my plan. I like the slim fit, and the fact that the screen is protected when not in use. I know some friends who have Chocolate (or SLVRs for that matter) and broke their screens so now the phone is a pain. I have heard of some people saying the hinge on a RAZR broke, but mine has been great.

The RAZR is better in terms of style and affordability, while the Chocolate is better in terms of functions. I have a RAZR, and I saw a Chocolate. I bet for my RAZR. Besides, what kind of RAZR are you wanting to buy? The latest ones who can match or surpass Chocolate's functions without surpassing its price are the V3x, V3i, or V3xx. The V3x and xx are 3g phones, and are waaaaayy cheaper than the Choco. I prefer any of the Razr phones.

i have a chocolate, and both my parents have razrs. if you're a teenager/young adult, the chocolate has more fun features on it. it has everything the razr has (speakerphone, games, texting, internet, etc.) but also has removable memory for the MP3 player and from my experience with talking on both of the phones, the chocolate has much better phone reception. the razr is less expensive, but not by much.. and once you count all the extra features the chocolate has that the razr doesn't, it's worth the extra $20 or whatever.

If you are getting a contract, the razor would still be cheaper then the chocolate. However, just to buy the phone, the chocolate would cost a fortune. The razor still is cheaper without the contract since its an old phone now and everyone has one. The chocolate has MP3 and it slides. either then that, thats pretty much it. Razor has a camera and it can text and go online like any other phone. goodluck choosing.

The Razr had some major flaws... I'd go with the Chocolate.
