I purchased a cell phone online that had a $170.00 rebate. I was jerked around for 1-1/2 years trying to get this rebate from them. I finally received the check this week after a lot of yelling and screaming and cashed it. Two days later, another rebate check for the same amount arrived. I know morally what I should do, but part of me wants to stick it to them for all of the inconvenience and hassle they caused. Had I not raised seven kinds of hell, I don't think I would have received anything. The last department I talked to was called rebate escallation. That tells me they jerk around a lot of people hoping that most will give up. I will never purchase anything that has a rebate again. Any suggestions?

Ive had the phone for about 4months now and i still cant work out how to send photos off my phone to the computer.. the usb cable doesnt work if im actually using it correctly!! can anyone help me out??

Have tried ebay before and its not available, even set up an automatic search so i will get an email if one comes up. I have an 18 month contract with T Mobile(got the mda compact) that i took out in april so its not like i can upgrade and get it that way and they dont sell it on its own.
Please can anyone advise if there is a place that sells them sim free/unlocked etc???

I connect the N80 to a Wi-Fi network, I browse and also stream live broadcasting TV.
The problems I got are:
- N80 plays back only links that refer to Real Player links. In some cases it plays only the sound and in some others it fails to load the find, once on the PC it loads it.I can imagine because the PC has got the latest version of Real Player.
- However, links that refer to streaming files that on a PC are played back on Windows Media Player are completely not accessible, and when I click on them, the handset opens either a notepad placing automatically that link as text, or it opens an MMS, because it cannot recognize that this file is a streaming link.

I know they'll try and wriggle out of it, my insurance is fully paid up but 02 will try and drag this out - any tips of what's a sure fire thing to say? Just I dropped it?

I got a mobile phone about 6 months ago.

It was faulty within the first wk, and i had to put it in to get fuxed.

It broke about 2 months ago, and the software had to be replaced

Today i tuned it on and the mike is broken and my ringtone is not playing even tho it is on full.

Do i have a right to ask fo a completely diff phone?

This is the 3rd time it has broke and i reply on the phone as i dont have a landline.

Apart from blocking the sim card ,what other ways/method can one use to make it useless from being used by the thief? I am using Nokia,, and I've wanted to register it, but it seems as if the facility for registering our handset is not in Nokia's program.I have gone to their website to check.

(2) After distroying it from the hand of the thief, can it be repaired or recovered ?

(3)Is there any software that one can use to send signal to the thief--if it happens that i do not want to distroy/deactivate it from working--(a)to warn the thief(b)to return it to a particular address or another phone number...if so,where and how do i download them?

I was just wondering if anyone had ever bought a cell phone online through wirefly.com. Are they reputable? The deal I'm looking at is a Pink Motorola Razr for free. All I have to pay for is the monthly bill through the wireless company. I'm just wondering if it's too good to be true? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The ringtone on my Razr v3 only rings for apx. 20 seconds, and I would like to know if it's possible to somehow mod it so that it can last longer.

I'm aware of MotoModders, HowardForums, and the other websites relating to the razr, please don't tell me to go to one of those sites unless* you have a specific link there that answers my question.
