If you have insurance, it shouldn't matter. Just say it's cracked. I've never had them ask that kind of question, and I've replaced several cell phones.

Basically you need to let them know you cant use the phone because of the damage. Thats when they would replace the equipment. If you can still use it they may not replace it, purely because it hasn't stopped you using your phone, thats what the insurance covers. They could class it as cosmectic damage, not damaged that unable to use.

If you cant get it replaced go to your local phone dealer and see of you can get your screen replaced.

All insurance companies will try & avoid paying up, whoever they are! Best thing to DO, when you get a new phone, or with ANYTHING, is just to be really careful with it. Best thing to SAY is "sorry, won't happen again".

Say that you dropped it, if your insurance covers accidental damage then that's what it's there for and you're entitled to a new one.

Tell them the truth. People who lie about what happened are the reason the insurance companies are so skeptical when you call with a claim.

Say someone tried to nick it in a handbag/rucksack & when you grabbed the bag back it fell out & broke. That way you stopped a theft claim. Play on this plus the distress.

if you dropped it ,you can't send back to the factory to claim it for free coz it's your own fault...normally original sets have warranty for it's LCD but when you drop it or in water...there is no more warranty.....but if your LCD jus go blank screen or cant on when you jus didn't do anything...then you can send for warranty...
