I am known as a “Test Applications Engineer”. I write software that assists in manufacturing and troubleshooting, of electronic banking equipment.

As far as I am concerned, I have a super cool job. But my employer is outsourcing all its manufacturing to an overseas contract manufacture, that will do my job, as long as pretty much everyone else’s.

Now, I need to write an awesome resume.

Do I put on my resume that I am seeking a job as an “Application Developer”, or as a “Test Engineer”, or a “Application Engineer”?

Perhaps somthing else?

okay i get the bytes about computers and how it is that they are stored. They each represent certain numbers. i get that but how does the computer decode them. Is it as text that tells it what type of file it is and its components or what.? im very confused about this. and how do they store them onto the hard drive? is it just like they do in cd's? then how do they erase or transfer them from one place to another. like to folders and stuff. how to folders "look" like in a hard drive meaning on the actual drive. i know that on cd's the data is in bumps that the laser picks up and deciphers but i dont really know about this

I need to create an informational website with a shopping cart for selling professional services. I did research and found reliable webhosting; however, I then realized I have to learn a whole new software pkg (eg NetObjects) and HOW to create a website which I don't want to do.Next I looked into website templates & a few I liked (eg a "swish" template); however, from what I learned I would still need to learn how to use site-building software in order to customize it. Given my needs (small biz, simple shopping cart, not too canned looking, not able to pay thousands to have one customized), what is the best & easiest way to create, maintain and adminster a small business website for a non-techie? I've been looking at sites like homestead.com that have decent templates but bad reviews. Any constructive advice/experience is greatly appreciated.

hi all, am trying to test some javascripts scripts for a webpage am designing but when i open the .html file on my web browser (internet explorer 6), the javascript code is not executed. Am i suppose to install something else? or activate something in my browser? thanks

That would be good if I wanted to showcase my photography?
I have a DeviantART and an account on Lunarcadia.
I don't want to use MySpace for it and I've tried Bravenet/Freewebs. I want my own site..the catch is preferably free.

I need a site that you can easily add pictures to without having to have a seperate photo album and all that.

Kay, bare with me because I'm pretty new at this program, but I can't seem to turn off the looping on my documents. I just want it to play once and stay the way it is on the last frame.

What I mean is that I can hear my computer running and when I check the processes in the task manager it shows the rundll32.exe at almost 100% and my CPU usage is 100%.

This is slowing my computer and crashing it at times, as well as heating it up. If someone can help me I would appreciate it.

How close can you come to building your own robot from scratch if you have some programming experience but not much of anything else? I use the term "robot" loosely here- just something that like has a light that blinks or a motor that whirs if you press a button on it or something.
