There may b different problems regarding the applet loading in website
First of All . you should know that .. Java Applet needs a Runtime .. it is same like .Net Frame Work for Microsoft Progrms .. same here .. you Need Java Runtime Environment for the Java Applets Running in your Computer ..
check whether you have that runtime or not???
if you dont have . then http://sun.java.com
get this from here ..
if you have the runtime . and then the applet is not loading . then the second answer will b applicable . that another man has given ... check wether java is enabled or not ???
or there is a problem with internet connection ..(speed or isp blocking the java applets or something like that )

You may need to charge your security settings to allow java to work. In internet explorer, at the top of your browser, look for the tools tab. Go to > tools > internet options > security > and make sure java is enable.
