I have an isp and a domain and a host, and just need to find a easy-to-use inexpensive file transfer protocol program. I have Windows Vista (not sure if that matters). Can anyone recommend a good program I can download online? Thanks

I recently ferormat my computer and when i go on chinese web sites i cant see any chinese characters. It use to work before reformating. when go on the site it says i need to install langauge packs but i cant find any in my computer

Ok- i have designed a clothing line and it is growing very rapidly. I need to create a website ASAP and i have been looking around and talking to people I know. All I have been coming up with is sites like geocities or linkingcommunities.com that have boundaries and limits. It wont even let me create a domain name. I dont know if I need to make my own pages and save as an html document then host them with servers or what I need to do. I just want to create a website with pretty much no boundaries. I also need it to be able to link to paypal or something so people can purchase my shirts and put in a credit card. i do not want a cheap website with cheap hosting. i am willing to pay but need to know the right direction to go.. any help?

I keep getting this error when i try to compile a program from the folder its in. i type in javac and then the program name.java, and i get.. "javac is not recognized as an interior or exterior command, operable program, or batch file." I have already changed my path and classpath variables. i just bought the programming with java book and would like to get started, but i have yet to even be able to compile a program, and this error isnt listed anywhere. please help!

I have an account w/ aol! ( stupid me) well I made it on another computer we now have a new one and I can't make personal away messages if I am signed on as a guest! I am a guest because my screen name wasn't made on this new computer I want to use my personal away messages but can't figure out how to add the one I already have I have tried going to settings then screen names then create but it says this screen name is already taken ( by me) but the computer doesn't know that is there any way I can add my screen name w/ out having to make a new one I don't like changing screen names To much of a hassel because of friends and websites!

I have a website, where I constantly add new information, so the site is changing. This is not everyday, but at least a couple of times per week. Newsletter, tips, etc, are put on the site. The content changes, but the subject matter does not. I want to keep the relevant in the search engine lists. How often should I update meta tags or does it matter since the subject matter does not change (same topics, new info)? Also, will changing meta tags too often "penalize" my site. I have never used a submission service because I was told they really don't work. Any thoughts on this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

This is for the standard type with header/footer. Does it make a big difference if it's "liquid" or not- what about pixels/fixed widths vs. percentages and negative margins? I've used different types but not sure about all platforms. I just feel like I read a bunch of stuff but never sure what's really best.

Hi, I was thinking of developing a .tv domain . But many people keep saying that its always better to get a .com. The .com is taken , but the .tv extension fits this name perfectly.
