can i use php in the form on a website i'm building to extract data from another website? Where i would just enter the URL of the part of the website i want the data extracted from in the form input field.?? help!

i have asked this Q before, but i dn't really understand how to do it! im just wandering if this time someone could suggest an easier way.. hopefully! its that horrible line around flash that you have to click first to activate it before you can use the flash content! some websites i went through has flash but no outline!! HELPPP

Hello,

I know very little about HTML and am stuck!!! I need to place a form on my 'contact us' page that is similar to this one found here: http://forms3.createforms.com/59832/form_1_1.html

I created that form lastnight but wasn't what I had expected. I need a form that can go directly onto my page.

Any and all help with be greatly appreciated!! I tried using something called, "Formclone" (?sp), however I did not understand one thing about it! **eeerrr*

Hi. I am taking a programming class and I can't get any help. The help room can't help because they don't know what their doing. My teacher is of no help. He gets smart and doesn't answer questions. Does any one know of a place where I can get some help? I mean, I write the program but I get so many errors that I can't go on with the projects. Please help if you can. I am taking a mySQL test and I have the following question:

Design a number of SQL tables to allow for storing the following information:
A. Companies and company owners.
B. Store locations which belong to one company.
C. Store location hours which allow for orders to be placed at different times on different days.
D. Food orders.

I do not want anyone to directly solve this for me I just need some help pointing me in the right direction as far as the tables to create.

I am thinking of creating 3 separate tables. Companies, Store Info, and Food Orders. Does this sound good?

I want to change photos extensions to use them as icons.
I know a way but i can't do it, by changing the extension from "rename" but this needs to show the extension in the name of the photo. how can i do that?
if u doesn't understand this, tell me another way or a program that i can download

i have a lot of pictures they i have not named , when i try to name them, i get the message
"if you change file name extension the file may come unusable"
is there anyway to rename files without losing them? Cheers

A friend of mine , at my last job, always told me of these free programs he could download that would build web pages in "php" (I think I'm saying that right) instead of html.

He said there were programs where you could add your Pay Pal payment options to your web page, blogs, etc...

Can anyone tell me about this because I'm wanting to build my wife a web page to go with her Ebay account and it would be nice to have the Pay Pal stuff on her page.

Again, I'm just going on what this guy always talked about. I got a better job and couldn't remmber anything he said about it butr scratchy details.

I was told I needed XAMPP - as it had Apache, PHP and the other stuff I needed in order to run php.

I have onstalled XAMPP but I've not configured it as I don't know how to - and when I try to preview my little php file from dreamweaver (preview in firefox) - it says I need to specify a server!!

I need to install the GD Library on my web server so that the captcha feature for a form l installed will work. The problem is that l do not know anything about linux of ssh and so don't know how to install this library, can anyone help me to install it with step by step basic instructions.

I have root access and l have putty to use for ssh, l just need instructions to download and install, then test and l think l may need to compile it as well???

I make memory photo's for a web site of families who have lost loved ones. I'm making a photo that is from the dad who has passed and he's sending it to his son who is alive. I need to find some kind of font or text that looks like the writing that comes from a plane. Sky writing I guess maybe you would call it. Like white puffy letters. I 've been making my photo's for about 3 years now but have just started getting into the graphic part and very new to the enter net and all that it holds. So if any one out there has knolege of this special text please could ya help a grandma make a memory for a boy with out his dad. I would even be interested in any and all kinds of web sites to get graphics for my back grounds. I will take any help I can. Thank you for helping me with this very special need.

If so, what to you like about it. I am going to be buying one soon and am not sure how to tell which one is best for me.


I am a novice, I've worked a semester with front page and even less time with html. But frontpage is the only program I've worked with and don't know if there is something better. I hear dreamweaver is good, but not sure if it is more complicated or not.


I've also seen a few at wal-mart that were 50 bucks. why so cheap, is there anything wrong with those, has anyone used them, were you satisfied??

I need to search for a cell based on two attributes. Column A contains titles of types of material and row 1 contains titles of size of material. Based on the type and size a weight is inputed. On a seperate worksheet, I need to be able to select a type (in a drop down box) and a size (again in a drop down box) and have excel tell me the weight based on the info entered. Can excel search the column based on the title then the row based on the title and pinpoint the correct cell? I appreciate any help.

Some how i have more than one set up with picasa.pictures finish up in random ones. If i cancell all of them and start again from scratch, will i loose all my pictures?
