I have an account w/ aol! ( stupid me) well I made it on another computer we now have a new one and I can't make personal away messages if I am signed on as a guest! I am a guest because my screen name wasn't made on this new computer I want to use my personal away messages but can't figure out how to add the one I already have I have tried going to settings then screen names then create but it says this screen name is already taken ( by me) but the computer doesn't know that is there any way I can add my screen name w/ out having to make a new one I don't like changing screen names To much of a hassel because of friends and websites!

As a guest user you are severely limited in use of the machine, can you not get a user name set up for yourself. Also, while you are having a problem why not use the opportunity to get away from AOL.

Yes, please, and I am not trying to offend, but if you would kindly consider it, please get away from AOL. I consider it a pox upon a computer...my spouse's friend had it, for years, and each time she downloaded an upgrade, AOL left THE OLD COPY intact, so there were FIVE FULL AND INTACT COPIES of AOL software eating up space on the computer!!! (and it's a small computer, to boot!) AOL is a bit of a booger to dredge out of a computer, but it can be done, and if you would kindly consider a different provider, I think you will find it in the best interest of your computer's well-being.
