I ordered a mac recently to replace my very old computer, but I have learned in this time, a whole lot about bitmap and how to use it, I am a pro, and I do a lot of spriting.

what I want to know is is there an equivalent to bitmap/paint for the mac computer Ill be recieving, or rather, how will my bitmaps register on the mac when I transfer all my files?

Ok on the pc that runs win 2000nt.It will not start i get an error stating that it is missing winnt\system32\config\systemced.Is there any way to go around this without a boot disk.It is my sisters old pc but I use it in my home to network.If I know someone that has a disk can I get it off theirs and if so does it have to be the same os.Thanks

I'd like to know the code to use and the files to use to make it so people can upload an imge to my server then go to a results page with the link on it. I want it to be kinda like imageshack.us i need it to be safe though.

I know that they have programmed the computer to understand what the words and signs mean, but how does the computer know what the letters in the words mean, or if you give the computer the definintion of "alphabet" and said something like the 26 letters of the English alphabet, how does it know the definintion of the words in the definition of alpahbet? I could also be thinking too hard about this and be making it more complicated than it really is. I've been wondering about this for some time now and would REALLY appreciate this if someone could answer my question.

I am using an Qbasic program that prints randomized numbers (3) from 000 to 999. It only prints 1 set of 3 numbers at a time. I would like it to print out 20 sets of 3 numbers at once.Can someone help me.

Hi folks im tryin to find VAT in query (Access) the formula i used is like this:

VAT : [cost]*17.5/100
(cost can be any cost eg. 120)(17.5 VAT rate)

problem is every time i run query a box appears and ask about VAT value i already gave the value which is 17.5. Can any one help me with it.

im makin a flyer. on the front im possed to have a picture, which i do. on the back of the flyer im possed to have a list of things goin on at the party and stuff, yk what to bring, ect. I have the front of the flyer done(picture) how do i flip it so i can make the list on the back? yk. like in skool they print test dbl sided to save paper. jus like that. I can't seem to find anything supporting this theory. In Javascript can I run a regular expression search and replace on an entire array?

For example:
Myarray[0] = "this is fun | what time is it? | the sky is blue|";
Myarray[1] = "Yahoo is fun | Answers are good | Go Saints |";
piper = /\|/g;
new_line = "\n";
Myarray[0] = Myarray[0] .replace(piper, new_line);

I want to search and replace all pipes with a newline character "\n". I then want all the arrays to read like this.

Myarray[0] = "this is fun
what time is it?
the sky is blue";
Myarray[1] = "Yahoo is fun
Answers are good
Go Saints ";

I keep getting an Object doesn't support this property or method. I have spent a good deal of time searching for a site that shows Array Search and Replace but to no avail.

Hi! I just finished designing a template and now I built a page (HTM) using it. I put the page on my server but when I go to it (ex.: www.anything.net/mypages/thatparticularpage.htm) the graphics won't show up. I only see the text and the background color. HELP!

A weblogic application starts coming up and attempts to initialize a database connection pool to a database that is hung. This is hanging the weblogic app. Are there any Weblogic parameters/values that can be set to allow it to proceed to come up gracefully and continue to attempt to set up the connections to the hung database (which will presumably be bounced) for the connection pool?

I am currently working on a project for my college in which they want me to create a website for a charity organization. According to the assignment I am to embed a blog into their website so that the organization can post news and personal thoughts....
