First you need to highlight the sentence that you would like to change the color on. Once your sentence is highlighted, then go up to your tool bar and look for the Font Color Symbol (looks like an A with a colored line under it). Click on the drop down arrow and choose the color that you would like your sentence. Your sentence should now be the color that you have chosen. I hope that I was able to explain this to you clearly. It really depends on where you are typing. There's some that allows you to change it...and some doesn't. Yahoo Answers doesn't allow you to do that, by the way!
If it's a text document from your computer such as Wordpad, Rich Text Document...you can simply click the Font and change the style & colour of the text.
If it's a HTML code you are looking for to change the text colour...simply type this:
Write stuff here.
It won't show the red colour since it is on Yahoo Answers which don't support this. I hope this helps...

Use HTML code as follows:
"TEXT HERE
You can replace the BLUE with any color you want. You don't need quotes in between the tags, you can write whatever you would like. Enjoy!

first highlight the sentence... then you go to the paintbrush icon or it will be a paint board and click on it and select your color... it should work that simple!!1
