This happened to me a couple of years ago, but I can't remember what I did to correct the problem.

Do you have an internet accelerating program like Earthlink Accelerator or Google Web Accerator enabled? These programs down res the graphics to speed up the loading of pages.


Also, I recommend switching to the faster, more secure Mozilla Firefox (http://getfirefox.com)

1) IE, Tools-> Internet Options-> Advanced-> Under Multimedia uncheck "Enable Automatic Image Resizing".

2) Are you using AOL? To shut off compression in the AOL program, go to Settings --> Preferences --> Internet Properties (WWW) --> Web Graphics, choose Never compress graphics. Click OK.
