I do "less " to open a file.
If I want to quit, normally we press 'q' but in my server, I have to press 'q' + Return/Enter.
Similarly for other options(move down, up, etc) I have to press key + return.

I want to reduce the pressing of 'Return/Enter'.
Is there a way to fix this?

I have one large .gif image that is:
999 pixels in width
120 pixels in height
--) I want to chop up the image into nine (333x40) pieces.
--) I have a late version of photoshop (v.7)
--) I have two toolbuttons (1) Slice Tool (2) Slice Select Tool
--)I am trying to incorporate as much .css stylling as possible. I have the following so far{{{{{{{most important}}}}}}

and that repeats for each of the 3 in each row, so it forms one large image.

(1) Is this an efficient way, or is their another way that i should go about doing this?
(2) In photoshop, whats the best way to go about slicing up the image.

Substitute for Adobe Photoshop.?

I use the OSX and I don't intend to use photoshop because of the license cost. Its a pain considering most amatures and professionals use photoshop for their art work and I can't open their files without photoshop. What would be a good subsitute/compromise to photoshop that would allow me to work well on my own art work and hopefully still able to open photoshop files?

I am a graphic artist interested in incorporating some 3-D animation into my video presentation. I really like what I've seen on History Channels "Drive thru History," which utilizes 3-D animation to bring to life series of still images, and I'd like to know if there are particular software programs that will do that kind of effect.
