Many times is the number of times I have seen programs with searching ability (i.e. entr a text in the box and click Search to get the results), but I want to do one myself on a PowerPoint show. If ya know, can you help me? In a simple language please!

PowerPoint was never designed with this type of functionality in mind. I think somewhere along the line you're using the wrong tool for the job - what _exactly_ are you trying to achieve with this technique? I personally can't see any reason for a "search" box in the middle of a slide show.

Rawlyn.

p.s. Somebody will get 10 points whether you personally issue them or not. That's just how the website works, on every question. Offering points is no incentive to answerers.

There are several site you can use. I think "ask.com" is easy. When you are at the main page of www.ask.com, there is a menu on the right hand side of the page. Choose "dictionary", in the empty box enter the word you are looking up & hit search. It will bring up a definition at the top of the page and several other sources that provide definitions.
