Is it worth it? Should I pay the money to get Dreamweaver? Or, just stick with NVU?

thanks.

I think that Dreamweaver is a great program that grows with your abilities. After doing sites for 10 years I still find new functionality in Dreamweaver that I didn't know about. Of course, I am the kind of person who learns what works best for her and then stops looking at other products. I rarely upgrade even - I find what I like and I don't change. I am using Dreamweaver 2.0 and I have never heard of NVU.

Peace!

if its just a personal site I dont see any point investing money to get dreamweaver...NVU will serve the purpose really well and there is a NVU forum which can help you answer tricky webdesigning questions...http://forum.nvudev.org/ ..NVU being free source is being improved on a daily basis and can match the best in the business

Don't know about NVU, but dreamweaver is great but very tech-y
I personally felt very overwhelmed with it, but you can try it out for free if you go to Adobe's website, they have a trial download so you can test drive it a bit first. If you are not super experienced you might want to try NetObjects8, you can get it through Netfirms.com, check it out, it is inexpensive compared to dreamweaver, though it does'nt operate with "layers " like dreamweaver it is still a very advanced but easy software that gives professional results. Tech support is good too. costs about 150 per year for domain name hosting and software - either download or disc. I built my site with NetObjects8, and had ZERO experience with website design and building and was very successful with it! Microsoft suggested them to me.
