I currently have ODBC Administrator on my workstation and it has been configured to get to the database. This part works. But, I need to know the actual code needed in VB to access this. From what I have seen it looks to be something like a record set definition. My books are old and this code is not in them. I need the code setup for this. Thanks

for writing nc program i should use arrow keys.but there is two problem whit it.1.arrow keys ascii code.2.getch() get arrow keys in two step but i need it to get in one step.

I'm pretty new to VS Express and all I want to do is to connect to database (SQLServer express) and execute a select statement with a connection like OLEDB or even via ODBC. I don't find convinient to fill my projects with tableadpters etc. Can anyone help or suggest a website? Thanks in advance

I added a lot of players to a team called Holland. Then I saved it. But when I opened the .dbi file again using Fcdb XP, I clicked Holland and there was only one player there with the jersey no.1. When I tried editing the player or the team to see what's wrong, this message in French poped up. It says

"Violation d'acess a l'adresse 003270C7 dans le module 'FCDB XP 2.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 00000014"

What does that mean and how do I solve it?

I've been in and out of consultant programmer positions for the last 15 years (PHP, Java, mySQL, Oracle, SQL Server); however, people only respect and request my business analysis skills. I can't get anyone to take me seriously about my programming. No one has ever complained or been disappointed by my programming skills; but every client jumps to the conclusion that I am better suited to analysis. I get lots of pats-on-the-head for programming but genuine praise and respect for my analysis. I would prefer to focus on the wonderful challenge that programming and design offer... but no one wants to let me do it. Aaaarrgh!!!!!
