How can one write from one frame to another using Servlet or JSP when loading on one frame?

I have a servlet that loads on one frame. I would like to get the outputstream of second frame and write to it. How can one achieve this ?

What you're talking about is client side manipulation. JSP is serverside. So the answer is javascript. Javascript lets you do inter window manipulation, and when you're dealing with frames, you're dealing with multiple windows. These days javascript is popular again, now that people have the buzzword of Ajax to entice them.
