Put your cursor on the image you want to cut, (or copy) -
Click your right mouse button and slide down to Cut, (or Copy) -
Click your left mouse button on Cut or Copy, (this puts it in your mouse memory so to speak) -
Now go to where you want to paste it and and tap your left mouse button in the approximate area, (this is just to mark & see where it will be pasted) -
Now right mouse click and slide down and click on Paste...
That's it!

That depends on what program you are using. For example, if you want to copy an image from the internet you can use the right click button and choose "copy image." This copies the image to your "clipboard."
Think of this process as a real clipboard. When you clip something on a clipboard it holds it on top until you put something else on top of it. Whatever you "copy" is temporarily put on your clipboard and you can an open an application, move your cursor to the spot you want your image to go in your document and right click your mouse to choose paste. You can also you keyboard shortcuts like ctrl+C to copy and ctrl+V to paste.
Let's say you want to copy an image from your image folder to a open document. You can literally "drag" the image into the document by clicking on it and holding down the button while dragging it into your open document. Not every application allows this. You can drag items from the internet into an open document.

Let's say you want to move an image to MS Word...open that up first.
Right click on the image (from the internet or whatever), click copy.
Then go to your MS Word, right click, then paste.
There are actually many ways to do this kind of thing...just play around, and keep the "undo" button nearby!!
I usually open a text box in MS Word, and copy the picture into that. It makes it easier to move the image around.

right click then select copy then right click where you want it and select paste(for an image file, unopend)
otherwise each program is slightly different if you are working withit just experiment with the cut, copy and paste. don't worry too much because if you just do one step at a time then you can always select undo to go back a step.
