I had Trillian with a Yahoo account and an MSN account.

My yahoo comes up just fine, but trying to connect with MSN it said invalid password.

So I went to hotmail.com and inputted my information and I got right in.

The MSN password is the same as the hotmail password so it should have worked.

I even went and changed the password and tried it on Trillian again with no success.

I even tried a NEW hotmail account and it did not work on Trillian.

Any suggestions?

I like playing pool on Yahoo and the games on Pogo. I used to have no problem playing them but now for some reason as soon as I try to run anything that uses Java it just closes Internet explorer. I've tried reinstalling Java, rolled back my PC to when I know it was OK and when I go on the Java website it closes it automatically... nothing works. I even tried Mozilla... that didn't do anything either.

I'm using Windows Vista and Internet explorer 7 and in the Internet options under the advanced settings Java's ticked so I don't know what else to try.

Any ideas?

Connection Test Failed Make sure your device is connected to a telephone jack using the included phone wire. Otherwise contact your ISP.

Had my BT line checked twice (inside and outside) and rewired. Had new micro filters. Since having Broadband, my line "crackles" (not regularly, but enough to be annoying!), switching off the modem sometimes works. I use all the wires included with my modem and I've spent a fortune ringing my ISP (which is namesco). they've talked me through reinstalling the modem and checking all the equipment, which is fine.

Any sensible suggestions would be appreciated.

ok obviously i have acess to the internet. i have it at home but i really need it at work. my husband and i have our own company. we are located in a rural area and there arent any businesses around except for a campground. they have a wireless internet set up but we are just far enough away to not get it. being that we are in the middle of no where the price to get something as little as a phone line put in is expensive and at this point we cant afford it. i need to find a way to use the internet while at work because i sit in an office and it gets very boring! any suggestions....please!?!?!

By that I don't just mean alt + 0133 or anything, but I mean like all of that and stuff like "& hearts ;" or "& rarr ;" (I used the spacing so the actual symbol doesn't show up) (When I don't space it out, it comes out like this: ♥ →). Does anyone know of a website like that? There used to be one I knew of... it was called "Mindless Invalid" or something... but it doesn't exist anymore. Please, please, please do you know of a good one?

I use urge so if you can do it on urge then that will help the most but any other site that is secure and legal will do. I have a video mp3 player and its says it can hold 60 2 hour movies. So where can I buy a movie legaly and how much does it cost? Thanks in advance,

I am looking to change jobs and would like to make contact with other employers through my hotmail account. If I use my current employer's internet access, can they detect what I do. Often to put a message in a forum or as a comment you need to register with the site. If you just want to make a quick comment and never use the site again, it can be really off-putting to have to go through the whole regiatration process.

I often end up just deciding not to make the comment. Obviously for sites such as this one (Yahoo! Answers) it's a good idea, for the purposes of building a community, but I think we should more often be given the option to leave quick posts on sites where we don't want to get involved.

Does having to register sometimes put you off using sites? Know of any articles I can read about this?

I have been using this browser for over a week and its okay but theres one problem.

The text on each webpage is so so small. How do you change the settings to get bigger text on the webpage using slick browser?

Unlike alot of browsers where you can go to options>text encoding and then select small medium or large, on slick there is no such option.

Help?

I have used Mozilla before but moved to Slick when i found out Firefox wasnt able to save any pics or vids successfully to my harddrive

Can anyone assist?

I downloaded AusLogics Boost Speed. After installing it my internet connection was lost tried doing diagnose connection problemes in my I.E tools tab but it resets my computer.
I also have no previous system restor check points before the probleme occured.
If any one knows of any thing that i can do i would be very thankfull.

i have a birthday party coming up, and i really want to have unique invitations. From time to time I always try to give a decent as possible answer on here. I might give a wrong answer, a joky answer, but I would`nt dream of insulting anybody on here. Why do so many out there hide behind their mouse. After you win the auction I understand you are obliged to pay the price to the seller. How much time do you have to pay before its too late? I intend to pay its just I can't right now (I'm going to tomorrow morning and I just won the auction about an hour a go) would this be too late?
