ok obviously i have acess to the internet. i have it at home but i really need it at work. my husband and i have our own company. we are located in a rural area and there arent any businesses around except for a campground. they have a wireless internet set up but we are just far enough away to not get it. being that we are in the middle of no where the price to get something as little as a phone line put in is expensive and at this point we cant afford it. i need to find a way to use the internet while at work because i sit in an office and it gets very boring! any suggestions....please!?!?!

I would contact the campground and see if they would mind if you hook up to their WiFi. Even if it is for a small dollar amount...it would be better than nothing. or you could look into what they call the "cantenna". it is a directional antenna of sorts that can help you gain signal. don't get caught stealing internet though...it could be very costly.

Your choices are pretty much pay to have a phone line installed & then use a $10.00 per month dial up or get satellite, however that would be around $300 for install & $70 a month.

Dish Network and Direct TV, the satellite TV carriers, also offer dish based satellite Internet. Speeds are fairly decent, and rival the slower DSL speeds. There are periodic outages due to weather but it is fairly decent.

In your case it may be the only practical choice

You could try Satellite Internet. It's somewhat expensive, but it will give you access in a rural setting:

Not sure what your location is, but try:
