After you win the auction I understand you are obliged to pay the price to the seller. How much time do you have to pay before its too late? I intend to pay its just I can't right now (I'm going to tomorrow morning and I just won the auction about an hour a go) would this be too late?

Most sellers give 5 to 7 days, if you think this is a problem then give the seller a quick email and explain the situation. Most are understanding and should be ok with waiting a few extra days if you need it. I have waited as long as 2 weeks for someone with good feedback. best of Luck!

As a seller it is usually not a problem if you pay the next day. Most sellers have a limit of about 3 days for Paypal payments and 7-10 days for money orders. Just remember to complete checkout no matter which way you intend to pay because it will send a notice to the seller that you will be paying a certain way or have already paid. Or you can send them a notice through ebay messages letting the seller know the situation. It's when they do not hear anything at all from you that gets them worried they may have a prank bidder on their hands. Then on the 7th day after the auction has ended they can file the necessary forms to report the buyer for non-paypment and try to get their fees back. I don't know if buyers know this or not but when you decide to purchase something the seller has another fee tacked on that they have to pay. Plus if you pay them with Paypal there is another fee taken there. So The Seller has to pay 2 to 3 Fees for an item that is bought by someone even if it hasn't been paid for by the buyer yet. Hope this helped.

The seller usually has this information on the bottom of the item description. I've won lots of auctions and the given time to pay is usually between three and five working days. So if you've just won the item an hour ago you've still got plenty of time. Email the seller and ask him/her how much time you have and payment details. e.g. PayPal, Direct Deposit etc.The sellers are usually pretty good and don't expect the money straight away!!

You generally do not have to pay the second you win an item on eBay. But you should pay within 5 days or within the time line stated in the actual auction. Or make arrangements with the person selling the item.

There is no fixed number of days to pay up for an eBay auction you won and it depends on the item auctioned. Usually eBay auctions allow upto a week to pay up.

You have seven days to contact seller and tell them how you intend to pay. I always give my buyers at least 10 days (in the case of cheque payments)

You should be fine. 24 hours is not that long to send payment. They usualy give you a week or so before they black list you. If you are sending by mail, I wouldn't wait to long though.

Read and see if you'd want to continue using PayPal or Ebay! No protection at all! Maybe there is, but for scammers only!
