don't know why people feel the need to do this, some of these questions are extremely serious, i posted a life or computer death question and got some ridiculous answers, i wouldn't dream of doing that to someone, i have answered other peoples questions, and even though i have only been a member a few days i have received best answer twice, by the way, my problem still isn't solved,

I think somebody should be able to add Forum Comments type thing on the individual answers itself, Lets say you want to rebutt a point or have something to add to someone's answer, then the best option you have is to put in another answer (I think the system does not permit the same answerer answering a question again It gives a "You have already answered this question")
It should be possible to a) comment multiple times on the same question or on specific answers b) Apart from being able to add URLs in the answer boxes it should also be possible to include diagrams and a way to save the thread itself, I dont see how it is much different from a forum thread posting, and I prefer the CodeProject style-forum threads because you only open a thread that looks interesting and it loads using dynamic html , if you have too many answers to the same question then it looks baffling

That's a good question but hard one to answer too.
I call the answers 'opinions' really. Each person has a different opinion and yes some may not like it but we have to accept the fact that some people sees things differently to us, negatively. However, answers should be swear-free. Yes, most of us swear at times but not on Yahoo Answers as we never know who's reading your answer. Some young people use it and what's that message being given to them?

It is tempting to be sarcastic or ridicule certain types of people e.g. lazy students who cannot be bothered to do their homework or people whose English is appalling probably because English is their second language. Don't get me started of those who want steal software or films and music.
I was surprised to have received a few violation notices and I realise certain people do get upset over trivial matters but I shall carry on much the same way as I cannot change who I am.

With you on this. But remember most of the users of answers are intelligent, but you will always find some people who don't always use there two brain cells.
That is why most of us don't open up our e-mail addresses for contacts.

i agree even though i am guilty of it when the people ask for demonoid invites. those are the only questions i answer tongue-in cheek.
i've reported abuse on the people who have put the spam thing in about the free laptop. we all know those ads are'nt real they are just there to get you to buy products you don't want or need.

I agree. It all comes down to integrity. You ether have it or you don't and if your hiding behind a mouse and slamming someone, you don't.
