Firefox is my default browser but the links that someone sends me as part of a chat session open in IE instead of Firefox. How can I disable this?

We have a small network at home, with 4 PCs, through a central router. Just re-installed winXP on one of them.
LAN working fine: we can see each other, transfer files etc. The network is ok. All PCs, except the re-installed one have access to the Internet. The failing one confirms it is linked to the network (sees the others), but, when attempting to go to IE, the program always responds saying "page not found, not connected etc...".
WHAT have I forgotten to set up?

I'm unclear as to exactly what this means and how it works. I found someone's website recently, they guaranteed it was secure, and listed what companies "covered" the security. I sent an email to them and, unlike all of my other sent correspondence to other people and websites, there was no acknowkedgement in my "Sent" folder. Why? The website flashed a message to the effect of "Thank you for writing to me." after I clicked "Submit." Please explain ALL OF THIS. I'm confused. Thanks y'all!

i have a folder with things in it that i dont want to be deleted on accident, so incase it does i need a site that will store it in the site, like photobucket.com for example only private and wount delete the files

Hiya,

In the area that I am moving both Cable & DSL are available...does anyone know if the way the speeds are represented are similar? Ie: 5Mbps x 500Kbs

Cable is supposedly faster, I thought...but the fastest cable offered appears to have a slower speed listed than the higher DSL range, are they considere the same in how there presented or is cable always just faster on a whole?

Very confused about this...any help would be appreciated.

By the way, I'm moving to Albuquerque and the companies that seem to be available are Cable One and Qwest.

I was just wondering how to desplay every image on the web when you go to the search bar and click on the image heading. For example when I recently typed in auroras there was a total of 37141 images and I can only view a max of a 1000 from the Walpaper, Large, Medium, and Small options.

I was just wondering if it would be possible to scroll through all 37141 of the images so that I do not miss out on any of them?

This keeps coming up. I use internet explorer. I already went to tools, internet options, privacy, and changed the level. It still dosn't work. It happens whenever my mom tries to add something to her cart.
